What foods can I eat and lose weight? Can I eat foods with sugar? Should I eat foods low in carbohydrates? What’s a carbohydrate? These are some of the questions I asked myself when I decided to lose the weight for good. I started with watching my caloric intake and didn’t think much about the quality of the food I was eating. I started to read articles and books to figure out what I needed to do. It all seemed so complicated. In the next series of blog posts, I will share with you what I have learned about caloric eating plans, low or no carbohydrate plans and different ways I have learned how to gage why I’m making the food choices I do. I will break it down in a way that is simple and include charts of what category certain foods fall into (I like charts!) This helped me a lot having a chart of what category foods fell into.
My goal for you for December 31, 2016 is not just to have lost weight, but that you’ll look back on the year and see how much you grew as an individual. This is a journey where you make adjustments as needed depending on what is happening in your life at the moment. But as much as I want this for you, you have to want to accomplish your goals. You have to start believing you can do this. Until next time….
